Walk That Walk Ranch
Getting to know us

We are a small Tennessee Walking Horse Ranch in the NW Arkansas Ozarks that has owned

and bred Tennessee Walking Horses for generations on this property. We breed only

the finest old heritage foundation Walkers for western pleasure riding, trails or

for show. All foals are imprinted at birth and raised to be part of

the family, listening to the equine music of Janet Marlow.  See

her available CDs at www.musicforpetsandpeople.com

EXTREME TRAIL TRAINING
is what we do best. Our horses spend many hours a day on the most difficult terrain and under harsh circumstances. They are ready for parades, mounted patrol, search and rescue, mountain climbing, deep and rapid water crossings, mounted shooting, etc. We can also train your horse to adapt to any situation in our training program.

Trainer Christy Enos of Enos Horse training in Atkins, AR

adheres to Natural Horsemanship Philosophy and starts colts the

right way giving them a solid foundation for their future job. See

her site at www.enoshorsetraining.com

We search far and wide to find the best old foundation lines

available and do not use AI  methods or surrogate mares in our

program. We believe in horses being bred "the old-fashioned

way". No horse bred here ever leaves the ranch without an open invitation

to return at any time. We absolutely will not sell any Walk That Walk Ranch bred horse that is

not 100% guaranteed.  Our older mares are never sold and live

their lives out here on the ranch, as will Soul King's Sun,

Memory's Go Boy's Memory and any

other future older stallions. We have been asked to rescue a

Tennessee Walker or two and have found that to be a rewarding

experience and will continue to try to help as we can.

Riding Lessons

You are never too young or too old to experience the world as seen through the ears of a horse. We use safe and effective lesson strategies to teach. All lesson horses are Tennessee Walking Horses...Why ride when you can glide?

Just remember:

There is more to riding a horse than sittin' in a saddle and lettin' your feet hang down!
